Family and friends, near and far—you're invited to make some Christmas magic together!
Our elf has escaped the North Pole and is hopping across the country through our group chat! Solve a clue, stage your elf's adventure, share a picture, and pass a brand-new clue to the next person.
🎅 How to Join
- Reply to your host: “I'M ELF-IN! 🧝🏾♀️✨”
- Join the group chat using the invitation your host sends.
- Choose an elf or substitute and give it a funny name.
- Watch for the player order and your turn from the host.
- Once you're tagged, aim to complete your turn within 48 hours. If you need more time, message the host.
🛷 How the Elf Travels
Receive your mystery clue 🔎
The previous player tags you with a riddle. Its answer points to a common household spot where your elf should appear.
Stage the mischief 📸
Solve the clue, put your elf (or stand-in) in a funny, safe scene at that spot or nearby, and snap a photo.
Post your elf report 💬
Share the photo in the group chat, tell us the clue answer, and add a silly caption. Your state or general location is optional.
Pass the magic ➡️
Tag the next player and give them a new riddle for another everyday household location. Keep the answer a secret; send it privately to the host.
Keep the adventure going 🎉
The next player solves your riddle and repeats the fun. The last player sends the elf back to the host for the big finale!
Answer: Refrigerator! Your elf might wear a scarf while guarding the cheese.

- Keep it kind: Family-friendly jokes and scenes only.
- Keep it safe: Avoid hot appliances, medicines, open flames, risky climbing, and anything unsafe for children or pets.
- Keep it simple: Everyday items and a creative caption are more than enough.
- Protect privacy: Don't show home addresses, mailing labels, or private details in your photos.
- Need a hint? Post “ELF HELP!” and the clue writer gives you a nudge.
- Busy day? Ask the host to swap or skip your turn—no pressure!

Once everyone's had a turn, we'll hand out just-for-fun awards: Most Mischievous Elf, Funniest Caption, Cleverest Clue, Most Creative Scene, and Biggest Holiday Heart!
